Kung Pao Ground Turkey and Green Beans

Ok Mom, you have 20 minutes to get dinner ready that will be quick and healthy for your family. Or, maybe you are trying to find an easy meal prep meal along your healthy and fit lifestyle change. This recipe is perfect, and delicious. With few ingredients and a quick prep and cook time, this is also perfect for those on the go. 

I first came across this recipe on one of my many Pinterest night scrolls and decided to jazz it up a bit with Kung Pao sauce. I love this recipe because it is completely customizable. You can crest whatever flavors you want with this meal. I’ve also tried it worth using just ginger and chili paste and it was excellent.

20 Minutes  

Ingredients  

  1. Ground Turkey

  2. Fresh Green Beans

  3. Brown Rice ( Sub Cauliflower Rice if doing Keto)

  4. Kung Pao Sauce

  5. Minced Garlic

  6. Seasoning- garlic powder, black pepper, season salt

Instructions  

Be sure to snap and rinse your fresh green beans. (Unless you get the pre snapped fresh beans) You may also use frozen but do not used canned beans. In a large skillet place your ground turkey and a tablespoon of minced garlic and season as desired and ground. Once your meat is just about done you want to add in your string beans and Kjng Pao sauce. I like to add enough sauce to cover the meat but not over saturate. Simmer until your beans are soft but still a bit crisp.

In a sauce pan prepare your brown rice. If you are doing the keto diet a great substitution is riced cauliflower.
