DIY Infant Holiday Pictures
The holidays are already expensive as is and trying to budget in a photoshoot for your little one can hike spending all the way up.
As long as you have a smartphone or tablet with a decent camera, natural lighting, wrapping paper, aluminum foil and cardboard you are good to go!
Here is how you can get a decent photo session without having to go to a professional.
Disclaimer: With me being a photographer I wouldn’t suggest that you DIY every photoshoot from here on out. However, times do get hard, and pictures are needed, so we understand when you skip out on your yearly session. #supportyourlocalphotographer
Okay now that I got that out the way here are the items that are needed.
Smart Phone (I have an iPhone 7)
Editing App ( I used Lightroom App. There are other free apps like Canva, Instagram or on your phone.)
Board and or bin top
Find the room with the most natural lighting. Set up your backdrop with the wrapping paper and tape. Wrap aluminum foil around your cardboard or bin top to make your reflector. Prop your reflector up and prepare your little one for their close up.
This will take A LOT of patience and quick snapping. Depending on the age of your little one it could also take an hour more. Woo-saaa the end results are worth it!
Don’t be afraid to play around with editing. Adjust them to your liking.
Enjoy your amazingly cute and FREE photoshoot.
