Hello from the Founders
Nisha Patel, a corporate executive, and Elise Mark, an opera singer, are two first-time moms who moved from different parts of the country to Bucks County to raise their families.
They met during story time at the Yardley Library, and what started as a simple weekly outing quickly turned into something more: a community of moms who became friends, planned playdates, shared meals, and made room for one another in the chaos of early motherhood.
That experience changed everything. It reminded them how powerful it is to feel supported, seen, and connected. They wanted to bring that same sense of community, ease, and joy to more moms, and that’s how The Modern Moms Club was born.
