Who We Are
The Modern Moms Club creates beautifully curated gatherings for mothers and their children, designed around connection, thoughtful experiences, and, of course, great food.
Our events bring together small groups of women in warm, welcoming settings where conversation flows easily, babies are cared for nearby, and every detail is intentionally considered. From elevated lunches and seasonal activities to creative workshops and community experiences, each gathering is designed to feel special without feeling forced.
At its core, Modern Moms Club is about creating space for connection and community in a way that feels warm, intentional, and worth leaving the house for.
Why We Started The Club
Like many moms, we found that community didn’t always come easily after having kids, especially in a new place. We craved adult conversation, shared meals, and spaces that felt welcoming without being overwhelming.
Modern Moms Club grew out of that need. What started as a few moms meeting up turned into something we realized many others were quietly looking for too.
Meet the Founders
Nisha Patel, a corporate executive, and Elise Mark, an opera singer, are two first-time moms who moved from different parts of the country to Bucks County to raise their families.
They met during story time at the Yardley Library, and what started as a simple weekly outing quickly turned into something more: a community of moms who became friends, planned playdates, shared meals, and made room for one another in the chaos of early motherhood.
That experience changed everything. It reminded them how powerful it is to feel supported, seen, and connected. They wanted to bring that same sense of community, ease, and joy to more moms, and that’s how The Modern Moms Club was born.
