Plant & Play was inspired by spring, the beautiful area we live in, and the idea of moms and kids learning something new together. For MMC founders Elise and Nisha, it was also a chance to finally get a little better at gardening, something we’ve both always been interested in but would definitely not say we’re good at.

We loved the idea of families going home with something they could keep taking care of throughout the spring. Gardening is such a great reason to get outside with your kids, give them something to be involved in, and eventually enjoy what you grew together.

We also completely fell in love with Seasons Garden Center. The staff was wonderful, the setting was beautiful, and we had no idea what a fun place it was to bring kids even outside of an event. We explored the grounds and trails and even got a surprise visit from some horses.

This was one of those events where we got to learn right alongside everyone else, which made it even more fun.
