Summer Refresh came together with a pretty simple idea: create an afternoon where moms could shop for their kids, learn a little about sustainable living, connect with other local moms, and support families in our own community at the same time.

We partnered with Yardley Refillery and NINJA DUDS to bring it to life. Moms shopped the DOLLA DUDS sale, where every piece of children’s clothing was just $1, explored the Refillery, and learned simple ways to make more sustainable choices at home. Our Early Access group also spent time with Jaime, owner of Yardley Refillery, for a conversation about sustainable living and realistic swaps that can actually work for busy families.

But one of our favorite parts of the afternoon was simply seeing everyone together. Moms browsed racks, chatted over drinks and snacks, discovered local businesses, and connected with other women in the community. It was exactly what we hoped Summer Refresh would be: useful, relaxed, and a really easy way to spend a Sunday afternoon together.

The afternoon also gave us the opportunity to support Fostering Hope Lower Bucks, an organization serving local children and families impacted by foster care. A portion of the event proceeds, along with 50% of DOLLA DUDS sales, supported Fostering Hope while also helping bring more awareness to the work they do right here in our community.
